Orlando electric meter honey bees treatment

Honey bees are great electricians! No, actually they really like to build their colonies in voids, and block walls have lovely spaces for bees to reside. And.. more importantly, many electric meters are not sealed properly, allowing enough space for bees to get behind and, yep, into the block wall, where they can pack away hundreds of pounds of honey, pollen, wax and bees.
Now, most pest control companies will just do a quick 'drive-by' spray, collect $85 and go on their way, only to leave you with big problems...the bees don't die ( hey, 50,000 adult bees, plus 150000 baby bees put up a good fight!), they get really mad, threatening you and your neighbors, and some colony damage is caused, resulting in fermenting honey, maggots and smelly, gross mollasses like oozing.
We have a protocol that works. Developed by Entomologists here at ALLFloridaBeeRemoval.com. Call us for proper block wall bee control --(855) 930.BEES

Block wall Removal

Having bees in a wall can be a lot more than what meets the eye. The whole phrase dont judge a book by its cover, the activity going into the next can seem small but it can be packing heat on the inside.  This nest was roughly 8inches x 5feet which is huge, and messy to remove if not done by an experienced professional. In the Tampa Bay area honey bee and African honey bees in a block wall are very common because bees like close voids in walls. They have plenty of room to build and have a striving, dangerous colony. Potential threats this colony makes is it can harm you, your pets, children, or neighbors. Also this nest can swarm and go to your neighbors! That is not the good kind of caring! Seminole County Bee Swarm on Wall

It's springtime and we've been getting hundreds of calls a day for Bee swarms landing in folks' trees, cars and mostly, homes. These swarms of thousands of bees are largely benign-- they are not very defensive, and will move on within a few hours, negating the need for any action whatsoever. There are times however, where swarms should be removed professionally, and NOT by a beekeeper!
Honey Bee Swarm on Block Wall

Take a look at this pic.. There are thousands of bees, and they have alighted around a utility box mounted on a wall. They are actually streaming into the block wall, and are starting to build a colony within. Call us post-haste, when you find a swarm on a house wall, as the cost for proper treatment and exclusion will be less, than if you wait a month or so.

For bee swarm removal, professionally managed by a team of insured and licensed stinging insect experts, call us at 1-800-343-5317

New Smyrna Beach Bee Removal from Attic

We often write how bees prefer to live in protected confines such as hollow tree holes, block walls, water meters and other similar places where the void offers protection from marauding invaders from other bee colonies, racoons and teenage boys! We even see them in Bird Nesting Boxes!

Even external honey bee colony locations, such as under tree limbs, highway overpasses, and soffits are becoming increasingly common sites for honey bee colonies to build nests.

New Smyrna Bees In Attic
Attics remain an unusual place for honey bee colonies to build, however it is becoming an ever increasing site, as the numbers of Africanized Honey Bees, (AHB, African Honey Bees or Killer Bees) continue to move further north, here in the State of Florida. New Smyrna Bee Removals are increasing as well, and boy are we seeing some evidence of Killer Bees.

It's not unusual, when performing New Smyrna Bee Removals, to encounter very fierce Bees, and we have 'marked' several neighborhoods as being the top spots for mean bees. Timberlane, Turnbull and Riverside Drive in New Smyrna have been particular hotspots. If you encounter bees in these areas, please bee careful!

Summerfield Fl Yellow Jackets in a wall!

YellowJackets in wall

We have 2 species of Yellow Jacket wasps here in Florida, and both of them prefer to build their nests in the ground, but on occasion, we find them in many other places.

This photo shows the paper envelope coming out from behind a phone junction box. The yellowjacket nest is located in the block wall, residing in the voids of the blocks. The client had been stung and her Air conditioning service technician had been stung as well, so it had to be taken care of quickly.

We have a protocol that involves drilling small holes in the blocks, locating the nest, and using pressure delivered expanding pesticide to completely cover the nest. We seal everything up and give a good long warranty.

If you are in Summerfield, Ocklawaha, Lake Weir, or anywhere in Florida and have Yellow Jackets in your wall, or anywhere else, call the Stinging Insect Experts at ALLFloridaBeeRemoval.com 800.343.5317

Melbourne, Fla: Honey Bees Swarming Dryer Vent

Melbourne, Fla. Apartments: Honey Bees Swarming a dryer vent

This is a common situation for us in Spring & Early summer. Apartment home residents are suddenly sharing their living space with hundreds of honey bees. Management calls us (We perform property management bee removals for most of the Mgt. firms in Florida), and we find a honey bee swarm has moved in to the space AROUND the dryer vent.
Melbourne, Fla bees swarming apartment dryer vent

The first thing I check for is caulk or expanding foam, usually applied by a well meaning staff member in an attempt to block bee movement. But in reality, they've made the problem worse, by sealing Thousands of bees INSIDE the apartment home!!! Look closely at the photo above and you'll see the caulk.

Brevard County has had an influx of Africanized Killer Bees overtake the European races that used to dominate the feral populations. As such, Space Coast Bee Removals should only be performed by bee specialists that hold Florida Pest Control Certifications and are experienced beekeepers. Our firm owners hold Univ. of Florida Graduate Entomology degrees and are considered top bee removal experts by our peers, worldwide.

Please, don't attempt sealing of bees inside structures, as they can be deadly, even swarms have attacked us since Killer Bees are now here. We've had fatalities occur in Florida because of improper stinging insect removal techniques.

We service Space Coast Apartments bee removals and Multi-family properties daily and carry all necessary insurances and certifications.

Jacksonville Honey Bees in a Brick Column

Honey bees "love" to get into structural voids, and brick or block columns are a very common nesting site for the social insects. To a honey bee, columns provide the basic requirements for decent housing: Small openings that are easily defended, A void that is mostly sealed (to ward off parasites and pests of the colony), and insulated(to help regulate temperatures).

This picture shows a brick column at a Jacksonville Church. Robber bees from competing colonies were getting into the brick column from small openings where the brick meets the wood trim. This column had been treated with what we call a "Drive-by Treatment" or "Spray and Pray", where someone had just sprayed these openings. Over time the treatment wears away, and robber bees start getting into the honeycomb that by now is rotting away, ooozing fermenting honey and providing a festering nursery for fly and beetle maggots.

We have to perform significant treatments, drilling into the columns, using power equipment to properly treat this fermenting goo, and prevent further rotting and maggot "parties", with us fininshing by sealing all entrances.

If you have bees inside a column, call us for proper treatment, so you don't have an ongoing, messy problem. 800-343-5317 , 904*907-6645 or visit us at ALLFloridaBeeRemoval.com
