Leesburg Bee Removal: Huge External Bee Nest on Tree

This is a real treat, a HUGE External Honey Bee Colony located on a tree trunk in Leesburg, Fla.
Can you see this Leesburg Honey Bee Nest in the Tree?

It's not everyday we find such large bee colonies, so we took a few pictures to show you the beauty of the comb sructure. Note how dark the inner plates are, that's where the bee colony concentrated the bee 'nursery', laying eggs and raising the young, or brood of the colony.

Most feral bee colonies in Leesburg are now Africanized, or Killer Bees and these did indeed test out at a high probability of being Killer Bees. A nest this size could easily hold 40-75 THOUSAND honey bees, and improper treatment or removal could threaten an entire neighborhood.

Please, don't attempt a removal of bees, as they can be deadly, even swarms have attacked us since Killer Bees are now here. We've had fatalities occur in Florida because of improper stinging insect removal techniques.
