DeLand Honey Bee Colony in Garage Wall

DeLand Honey Bee Colony in Garage Wall
DeLand Bee hive in Garage Wall

This colony of bees started building this nest about 2 weeks ago, gaining entry through a tiny gap around a plumbing hose bib. A hole only needs to be 1/4" to allow bees enough space to enter voids such as this uninsulated garage wall. Within months, this space could be filled with a hundred pounds of comb, honey, pollen and bees.
