St. Augustine Yellow Jacket nest removal for Florida Power & Light
St. Augustine Yellow Jacket nest removal:
Here, you see FP&L's Doug, all suited up for Yellow Jackets. He survived an earlier attack of Yellow Jacket wasps while working hard to restore power to victims of a very strong thunderstorm. We often have to suit up and assist utility workers, as they need to perform their specialized services in a timely manner and our technicians are required to remove the stinging insect threat.
Yes, we perform bee removals for most of the electric utilities in Florida, often in dangerous locations. They trust us to provide professional & competent bee removal services and reduce the liability inherent with stinging insects. Click here for other jobs we've done for utilities. You can trust us for your bee removal needs too.

Winter Garden Bee Removal - Queen Cell!
As we are entomologists, (Insect Scientists) & avid Beekeepers, we really dig bees AND we really did teaching folks about bees! We were doing a City of Winter Garden Bee Removal last week and found several "Queen Cells" as pictured below:
Queen cells are special pupal cells designed by bees just for raising queens. Queens are raised to replace a queen that either flies away with a reproductive swarm, is injured or is not producing eggs well enough for the colony's liking. The colony will produce several of these peanut-shaped cells, and orient them in a vertical position. Upon emergence, the first queen will seek out the others and if her sisters have not emerged, will sting them to death! If there are multiple emergent queens, they will seek each other out by 'piping', and fight for dominance of the colony. No love lost in the bee world!
