Tampa Yellowjacket nest removal

Isn't this a cool photo of a Tampa yellow jacket nest? We get lots of calls for yellow jacket or ground bee removals in late summer, as the colonies have plenty of insect prey to support quick growth of the nests. This nest had about 10,000 !!! yellowjackets and would have grown tremendously even by labor day. Self treating a nest this size could result in many stings, so we don't recommend using things like wasp spray, gasoline or other such treatments.
